Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Mango (Olidih) P.S. Case No. 244 of 2024 for offence under sections 308 (4), 111(2)(b), 111(3) & 61(2) of B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of Sri Alok Kumar, learned J.M.F.C., Jamshedpur. On 18.08.2024, rangdari was demanded from the informant from a mobile phone bearing number 7633867532, the miscreants had demanded 25 lakh rupees as a rangdari. It was submitted that the mobile phone which was used in demanding rangdari does not belong to the petitioner. It was further submitted that no money was transferred to the accused persons. It was finally submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused. From the perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confessional statement of the co- accused, which has been recorded at paragraph nos. 30 and 31 of the case diary. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Alok Kumar, learned J.M.F.C., Jamshedpur. or his successor in connection with Mango (Olidih) P.S.
