The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: (i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing Respondent- 1 herein to consider the Petitioner’s representation dated 23-07-2025, as per Annexure-B, in accordance with law. (ii) Issue such other writ/order/direction as deemed fit under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice. 3. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner had been called by respondent No.2 to Kulgod Police Station in respect of the suit in OS No.275/2022 filed by the petitioner before the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Gokak and that he has called upon to withdraw the said suit. 4. Learned AGA upon instructions submits that the petitioner was called upon to respondent No.2 - - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:10672 WP No. 106133 of 2025 Police Station on account of the complaint having been filed by the defendant in the said suit and upon enquiry regarding the subject matter of the suit filed, respondent No.2 has categorically indicated that the dispute has to be resolved in the said suit. 5. The submission of the learned AGA is that the petitioner was called only once and he would not be called again in respect of the said complaint. 6. The submission of the learned AGA answers the grievance of the petitioner. 7. Placing his submission on record, the petition stands disposed.
