This claim came up for consideration before a Learned Single Judge of the erstwhile High Court of Judicature of Andhra 2 RRR,J&Dr.KMR,J ' W.A.No.462 of 2010 * Pradesh at Hyderabad, in W.P.Nos.5418 of 2002 & 5928 of 2002. The Learned Single Judge, after considering the contentions raised by all the parties in the Writ Petitions, by Judgment, dated 01.04.2009, declared that the said land, in question, belongs to the Government and is not a notified waqf land and that further grants should not be made on account of the fact that the land had been given only for the purpose of plantation of trees which has already been fulfilled. Aggrieved by this order, the appellant has approached this Court, by way of the present Writ Appeal. 2. In the interregnum, it appears that the Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.151, dated 27.03.2023, alienating the said land to an extent of Ac.29.02 cents of land in Sy.No.392/1 of Kalicherla Village, Peddamandyam Mandal, Annamayya District, in favour of Moulaka Pahad Welfare Society, Peddamandyam, on payment of Rs. 10,000/- per acre, subject to the conditions laid down under the Board Standing Order No.24 and G.O.Ms.No.571, Revenue (Assn.l) Department, dated 14.09.2012. 3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents states that the payment of Rs. 10,000/- per acre has been completed and the District Collector had passed proceedings, dated 13.04.2023, permitting the Tahsildar, Peddamandyam, to hand over the possession of the land to the Society. Thereafter, the Tahsildar, by proceedings, dated 25.04.2023, had handed over the said land to the Society. 4. 3 RRR, J & Dr. KMR, J W.A.No.462of2010 The learned counsel for the appellant submits that nothing further 5. survives in the Writ Appeal, in view of the fact that the land has been alienated to Moulaka Pahad Welfare Society. Recording the same, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. There shall be 6. no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
