It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner, who is a complainant, filed a complaint, supported by notary affidavit, on 06.11.2024 against the respondent No. 5/ Chanjyoti Gram Pradhan of Village Panchayat Bharauli Tehsil Sagri District Azamgarh under the provisions of U.P. Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhan and Up Pradhan and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997 before the respondent No.2 /District Magistrate, Azamgarh. It is argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 2. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that the respondent No.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Azamgarh to decide the aforesaid complaint most expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order strictly in accordance with law but after providing opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, if there is no legal impediment.
