SHAIK KHAJA BASHA The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: The present Writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings of the 2nd respondent, the Waqf board, bearing F.No.21/CTR/K/2007/Z-IV, dated 08.09.2022, appointing the 6th respondent as President of the Waqf Institution, namely the Dilarabad Masjid (Santhapet Masjid) Managing Committee, Santhapet, Chittoor District (5th respondent), without considering the application of the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the respondent Nos.2 to 4. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 4 submits that the appointment of the 6th respondent as President of the Managing Committee (i.e., 5th respondent) for a period of two years is completed by 07.09.2024, and thus, the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 4. In view of the completion of appointment period, the matter has become infructuous and no further orders are necessary. However, the petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application for appointment in respect of Dilarabad Masjid as a partner in the new committee, in accordance with law. 3 5. With the above observations, the present Writ Petition is dispose of. There shall be no order as to costs.
