In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court, Shri Sanjay Kumar Om, counsel for the respondents has obtained instructions in the matter and has handed over a copy of the same to the Court which is taken on record. On the basis of his instructions, Shri Sanjay Kumar Om, counsel for the respondent nos. 2 & 3 states that the work done by the petitioner has been verified and approved. On the basis of his instructions, Shri Sanjay Kumar Om, counsel for the respondents further states that demand for money to be due to the petitioner has been sent to the Chief Engineer (Varnasi Region), U.P. Jal Nigam (Gramin), Varanasi. It has been stated that the amount due to the petitioner shall be paid on receiving the said amount from the Chief Engineer. It would serve no useful purpose to keep the petition pending. The Chief Engineer (Varanasi Region), U.P. Jal Nigam (Gramin), Varanasi is directed to take appropriate action for releasing the amount as sought by the Executive Engineer, and the Executive Engineer shall ensure that the said amount is paid to the petitioner within 15 days after the same is released by the Chief Engineer. In any case, the whole exercise should be completed by 15.7.2025. With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of. The Registrar (Compliance) shall send a separate notice of the present order to the present Chief Engineer (Varanasi Region), U.P.
