1 2025:CGHC:49892 HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH AT BILASPUR ACQA No. 1031 of 2024 Kavita Goswami D/o Shail Kumar Goswami Aged About 46 Years R/o Flat No. 203, 2nd Floor, Shiv Vatika, Mahadev Ghat Road, Ashwani Nagar, P.S. Azad Chowk, Raipur, District : Raipur, Chhattisgarh ... Appellant versus 1 - State of Chhattisgarh through District Magistrate, Raipur, District : Raipur, Chhattisgarh 2 - Lokesh Kumar Sahu S/o Domar Singh Aged About 36 Years R/o Ganpati Vihar Colony, New Changorabhata , P.S. D.D. Nagar, Raipur, District : Raipur, Chhattisgarh ... Respondents (Hon’ble Shri Justice Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal) Order on Board 07/10/2025 This is an appeal filed under section 413 of BNSS 2023 against the judgment dated 16.04.2024 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge (Special Judge of Special Court for trial of CBI cases), Raipur, District Raipur whereby the judgment passed by the trial Court was set aside and the respondent was acquitted of the charge under section 498-A 2 of IPC. No one appears for the appellant when the matter is called out in second round. Even on earlier occasion when the matter was taken up for hearing on 15.09.2025, no representation was made on behalf of the appellant. It appears that the appellant is not showing interest in pursuing his case. Since no representation is made on behalf of the appellant to argue the case despite repeated calls, this Court is left with no other way except to dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution. Sd/- (Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal) Judge Rao
