...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue appropriate Writ or order or direction mostly one which is in the nature of Writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondents 2 and 3 in providing the necessary police protection to the petitioners for carrying quarry operations over an extent of 9.900 hectors equivalent to Ac. 24.46 cents in Survey No. 173 of Vijayapuram Village and Mandal, Chittoor District in accordance with the proceedings No. 2751/Q3/2017, dated 1-3-2018 of the 4th Respondent as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable, unjustified, violative of Article 19 (1) (g) and 21 of the Constitution of India and unsustainable and consequently direct the Respondents to forthwith provide such protection and pass

ORDER:
The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“ .... to issue appropriate Writ or order or direction mostly one which is in the nature of Writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondents 2 and 3 in providing the necessary police protection to the petitioners for carrying quarry operations over an extent of 9.900 hectors equivalent to Ac.
24.46 cents in Survey No. 173 of Vijayapuram Village and Mandal, Chittoor District in accordance with the proceedings No. 2751/Q3/2017, dated 1-3-2018 of the 4th Respondent as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable, unjustified, violative of Article 19 (1) (g) and 21 of the Constitution of India and unsustainable and consequently direct the Respondents to forthwith provide such protection and pass ....”

Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the licence of the Petitioner for mining operations is expired by 2023 and that the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and that Court may pass appropriate orders by disposing of this Writ Petition. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent-Police is in attendance. 4. In that view, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Petitioner is at liberty to file fresh application for fresh cause of action if so advised. No order as to costs. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
