ARAVALA RAMA RAO(SC FOR APSRTC KKAC) The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 32185 of 2018 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents herein in not extending the benefit of 12 years special grade stagnation increments and not paying the Gratuity from 20.07.1974 to 19.02.1977 by counting his service from the date of initial appointment as illegal, unjust and arbitrary and as such consequently direct the respondents herein to extend the benefit of 12 years stagnation increment to the petitioner by counting the service from 20.07.1994 and the Gratuity from 20.07.1974 to 19.02.1977 and to pay the arrears from the date of entitlement by refixing his pay with interest forthwith in the interest of justice and to pass…” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri S.M.Subhan, learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed since the relief has become infructuous. 3. Sri A.Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents is in attendance. 4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed, since, the relief has become infructuous. No order as to Costs.
