JUSTICE S G PANDIT) Heard Sri. Ramesh I Zirali, learned counsel for the complainant and Sri. Ramachandra A.Mali. Perused the entire petition papers. 2. This contempt petition is filed complaining disobedience of the order dated 03.03.2023 passed in W.P. No.101788/2022, wherein this Court issued direction as follows: “(i) The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation to the respondent – University to seek redressal of his grievances and the respondent – University shall consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with law after hearing all the parties concerned and take appropriate decision thereafter as expeditiously as possible.” 3. On issuance of notice, accused have appeared before this Court and today, accused No.2 has filed a counter affidavit dated 17.10.2025 enclosing Annexures-R1 to R8. The same is taken on record. Under Annexure-R8, dated 11.10.2025, the complainant is informed that his case for retrospective promotion cannot be considered. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:14092-DB CCC No. 100044 of 2024 4. In view of the communication dated 11.10.2025, we are of the considered view that there is substantial compliance of the order passed by this Court. However, liberty is reserved to the complainant to challenge the said communication, if he is so aggrieved. With the above, further contempt proceedings are dropped.
