The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“ .... to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 to 5 in detaining the petitioner illegally at the behest of respondent No.6 as arbitrary, illegal, capricious and violative of fundamental right guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner to deprive the life and liberty of the petitioner without following due process of law and pass ...”

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents on instructions would submit that in the counter affidavit respondent No.4 clearly stated that the respondent police never detained the Petitioner in the police station as alleged in this Writ Petition and that this Court may pass appropriate orders by disposing of this Writ Petition. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that this Court may pass appropriate orders by recording the said submission. 4. In that view, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
