The petitioner named above has been made accused in connection with Kotwali (Ranchi) P.S. Case No. 276 of 2022 (G.R. Case No. 575 of 2023) for the offence registered under Sections 419/ 420/ 467/ 468/ 471/ 120(B) of the IPC, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected twice by this Court on merit. On last occasion, vide order dated 03.01.2025 passed in B.A. No. 10760 of 2024 a direction was given to the Trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same within three months from the date of the said order. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is being renewed on the ground that the petitioner is languishing in jail custody for more than two years and at present, only three witnesses have been examined. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Court below.
