The petitioners claim to be the owners of the land bearing R.S.No.324/1 (old Sy.No.324). The land of the petitioners is said to have been the subject matter of acquisition for an irrigation project without paying any compensation. It is therefore the petitioners then submitted a representation seeking compensation for the utilisation of their land. The representation has not yet merited any consideration at the hands of the respondents. Therefore, the petitioners are before this Court. 3. The Learned AGA Sri.V.S.Kalasurmath would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the representation would be answered in accordance with law and appropriate orders would be passed. 4. In the light of said submission, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition without entering upon the merit of the claim of the petitioners, with a direction to the respondents to answer to the representation dated 10.01.2025, in accordance with law and pass necessary - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:14121 WP No. 103001 of 2025 orders thereon, within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
