Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief : "i) Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 16.01.2025 passed by the District Level Caste Security Committee, District Aligarh (respondent no.2) against the petitioner. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities not to interfere in peaceful use of petitioner's Caste Certificate (No.124134011011) dated 03.10.2013 issued by the Competent Authority (Respondent No.3) after following prescribed procedure for the same." 3. As the procedure provided for by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Kumari Madhuri Patil and another Vs. Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development and others reported in 1995 0 AIR(SC) 94 has not been followed in the particular case. 4. In light of the same, the impugned order dated January 16, 2025 is quashed and set aside with liberty granted to the authorities to proceed in accordance with law. 5.
