In this report the details of illegal excess mining of the petitioner and his brother and amount of excess mining of minerals are given, this shows that the petitioner and his brother are involved in https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CONT P No. 1372 of 2025 the crime. It is not mentioned any where in the report that the petitioner and his brother are innocent and not involved in the crime. I carefully perused the order of Commissioner of Geology of Mining, Guindy, Chennai dated 29.10.2022 the contents of the order is plea of the petitioner to reconsider the order of Sub Collector, Mettur in which the penalty levied on the petitioner. In the order of the Commissioner of Geology of Mining, Guindy, Chennai the seigniorage fee imposed upon the petitioner is not reduced and the penalty amount levied on the petitioner was reduced from Rs.28, 48,992 to Rs.5,00,000/- only. In this order non involvement of accused is not mentioned anywhere. 7. I respectfully submit that after completion of elaborate and detailed investigation, based on the material evidence on 27.05.2025, I have filed a final report against the accused person in Cr. No.222 of 2022 for the offence under Section 379 of IPC before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Salem through e-filing No.LTN202300003244C202500588. 3. It is clear from the above that the investigation has been completed and the police report has been filed before learned Judicial Magistrate II, Salem. 4.
