By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:-
“i) That the respondents may kindly be
directed to give reasonable compensation/goodwill for the loss of business due to construction of Suni Dam which is the only source of his income.
ii) That the respondents may kindly be
directed to decide the representation dated 15.06.2025 (Annexure P-4) in a time bound manner.”

Ms. Shivani Priya, learned vice counsel, on instructions, submits that presently the prayer of the petitioner is for the issuance of direction to the Authorities to decide the representation made by the petitioner and, obviously, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the outcome of the representation, he will invoke the jurisdiction of the Civil Court.

Accordingly, as prayed for, this petition is disposed of with the direction that let the representation of the petitioner be decided within a period of four weeks from today after hearing the petitioner and thereafter, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order that may be passed by the Authorities on the representation, he may approach the Civil Court to claim appropriate good will compensation.
