It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Central Government Counsel appearing for the petitioners that the 1st respondent died on 08.12.2023 during the pendency of the writ petition and it is a matter for consideration of promotion for the 1st respondent. 3. Pursuant to the orders of the Central Administrative Tribunal passed in O.A.No.439 of 2012 dated 27.07.2012, the petitioner had also attained the age of superannuation even before his date of death. In view of the same, this writ petition cannot be proceeded with further. 5. Recording the above said statement, this writ petition is closed. Interim order if any deemed to have been vacated.
