The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sukhdeo Nagar P.S. Case No. 600 of 2025(N), for the offence under Sections 21(b)/22/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act and Sections 111(2)(b) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi. On 04.11.2025, co-accused Sahista Praveen @ Sejal was apprehended by Sukhdeo Nagar Police from New Market Chowk, Ratu Road and on search, 92 grams of brown sugar were recovered from her possession. On the basis of confession of co-accused Sahista Praveen @ Sejal, the house of this petitioner was raided, from where, 10.24 grams of brown sugar were recovered along-with cash of Rs.2,65,000/-. It was submitted that the search and seizure was made on the same date but at different time. It was further submitted that two separate seizure lists were prepared. It was also submitted that the quantum of seized brown sugar recovered from the possession of the petitioner comes within the purview of intermediary quantity and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi, in connection with Sukhdeo Nagar P.S.
