With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage.

Petitioner is a National Awardee Teacher, who in lieu of his national award, was allowed two years’ extension in service. Petitioner’s grievance is that in view of applicable notifications/circulars/policy, he was also entitled to one

2 additional increment in lieu of his national award, which has not been released in his favour. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the petitioner has preferred a representation in this regard on 12.08.2025 (Annexure P-5), followed by reminder on 22.09.2025 (Annexure P-6) to respondent No.2, but the same are still lying unattended. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case the respondents/competent authority(s) are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation/reminder in accordance with law within a fixed-time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer.

Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1/ competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation/reminder of the petitioner dated 12.08.2025 & 22.09.2025 (Annexures P-5 & P-6) in accordance with law and applicable notifications/circulars/policy within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
