The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Budmu P.S. Case No. 34 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 308(2), 308(4) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the court of Ms. Manya Tandon, learned JMFC-XVIII, Ranchi. On 12.05.2025, Budmu Police received confidential information that a member of T.P.C. naxal organisation has come to collect rangdari from Brick-kiln owners. Police party went towards Chaingarha forest and apprehended this petitioner. Naxal pamphlets were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Criminal antecedent report earlier called for, has been received. It appears that petitioner is accused in as many as three cases. It was submitted that petitioner has been released on bail one case out of three cases. Considering the nature of allegation and fact that petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
