Petitioner is serving as Lecturer (Chemistry) at Government Senior Secondary School Chowai (Anni), District Kullu. Even though the petitioner has been posted at the present place of posting in the year 2024 and has not as yet completed her normal tenure, however, the petitioner has preferred a representation on 06.10.2025 (Annexure P-2) for her suitable adjustment/transfer at Government Senior Secondary School (Girls) Palampur. The said representation has been preferred in view of the decision of the writ petition preferred by petitioner’s husband Tarjeev Kumar. The said

2 petition Tarjeev Kumar Vs. State of H.P. & Anr.2 was dismissed on 31.07.2025, declining interference with the transfer of petitioner’s husband at Palampur, District Kangra. While dismissing the petition, liberty was reserved for petitioner’s wife (present petitioner) to seek her transfer in view of her husband’s transfer at Palampur. The operative portion of the Tarjeev Kumar2 reads as under: -
“5. Keeping all facts into consideration, no case is made out for interference with the impugned transfer order. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. It is, however, open for the petitioner’s wife to seek her transfer in view of petitioner’s transfer at Palampur. In case such representation is so made, the same shall be considered in accordance with law by the Competent Authority expeditiously. All pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, to also stand disposed of.”

In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide petitioner’s representation dated 06.10.2025 (Annexure P-2), in accordance with law, as per applicable transfer policy and keeping in view Tarjeev Kumar2 within a period of four weeks from today. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
