It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that an application dated 29.06.2021 supported by affidavit has been submitted by the petitioner as per Rule 6 of U.P. Panchayat Raj (Maintenance of Family Register) Rules, 1970 before the respondent No.4/Assistant Development Officer (Panchayat), Block Motichak, District Kushinagar. It is argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no decision has been taken in the matter. 2. On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that th respondent No.4 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.4/Assistant Development Officer (Panchayat), Block Motichak, District Kushinagar to take a decision in the matter most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order if there is no legal impediment.
