Sinha, Advocate ---- 2/22.12.2025 Heard learned counsels for petitioner and for State. 2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Lohardaga Mahila P.S. Case No.19 of 2025, for offence registered under section 85, 115(2), 3(5), 89 of BNS, 2023 and section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lohardaga. 3. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioner no.1 is father in law, petitioner no.2 is mother in law, petitioner no.3 is brother in law and petitioner no.4 is sister in law. He further submits that there are general and omnibus allegations made against the petitioners of torture and demand of dowry. He next submits that the allegations are false. 2025:JHHC:38494 2 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegations are there of torture and demand of dowry. 5. Considering that petitioner no.1 is father in law, petitioner no.2 is mother in law, petitioner no.3 is brother in law and petitioner no.4 is sister in law and there are general and omnibus allegations against all the petitioners and the entire family members have been made accused, and in that view of the matter, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned court concerned within two weeks after X-Mas holidays, and the learned court concerned shall release the petitioners on such terms and conditions as well as the sureties as the learned court concerned shall deem fit and proper. 6.
