3. Reliance has been placed upon the judgments passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court in the case of Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr. reported in (2012) 10 SCC 303 & State of Madhya Pradesh Vs. Laxmi Narayan & Ors., reported in (2019) 5 SCC 688 and the learned counsel stated that the proceedings arising out of the impugned F.I.R. be quashed and set-aside.
4. Per contra, learned Public Prosecutor opposed the prayer.
5. Considering the submissions made by counsel for the parties and looking to the fact that after registration of the F.I.R., the parties have settled their dispute by entering into a compromise and applying the principles of law as laid down by the Hon’ble Apex Court in the case of Gian Singh (supra) and Laxmi Narayan (supra), this Court deems it just and appropriate to invoke the inherent powers of this Court contained under Section 528 BNSS.
6. Accordingly, the instant criminal misc. petition is allowed. The proceedings arising out of impugned F.I.R. No. 182/2022 registered at Police Station Behror, District Bhiwadi against the petitioner stand quashed and set-aside.
7. Stay application and all pending applications, if any, stand
disposed of.
