Petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 84 of 2023 arising out of Rail (Bokaro) P.S. Case No. 18 of 2023 for the offences registered under sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned A.J.C.-X, Ranchi. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 11528 of 2023 by order dated 19.01.2024. 4. On 12.09.2023, on the basis of confidential information, Bokaro Rail Police apprehended this petitioner and co-accused from Platform No. 01 at Bokaro Railway Station. On search, 40.00 kgs. of cannabis were recovered from their joint possession. 5. Report regarding the stage of the trial earlier called for, has been received. It appears that out of twelve charge sheeted witnesses, only five have been examined. 6. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than two years. It was further submitted that the trial is not likely to be concluded soon. 7. In view of aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.-X, Ranchi in connection with N.D.P.S.
