Certain ancillary reliefs have also been sought. 2. Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 has filed a memo and submits that the period of work to be executed in terms of the tender was only for a period of one year. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to controvert the assertions made by learned counsel for respondent No.1. 4. The memo filed is taken on record. It reads as follows:- - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:12712 WP No. 100160 of 2021 “Herein the advocate for respondent No.1 submits as follows:- That the writ petition filed by petitioner challenging tender award dated 17.12.2020, as per award period is one year, same had completed in the year of 2021. Hence, above matter is infructuous. Kindly dismiss as infructuous. Hence, this memo (sic). 5. As the award of contract was on 17.12.2020 and noticing that the period of execution of work as awarded in the tender has spent itself in the year 2021 and taking note of the memo filed by learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1, the matter has become infructuous. 6. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as having become infructuous, as the period for which contract was awarded pursuant to the tender process has spent itself.
