Sharma, Additional Advocate General, with Mr. Rajat Choudhry, Assistant Advocate General, for the respondents. Pursuant to the judgment rendered in this matter on 03.12.2025 and the order thereafter passed on 29.12.2025, learned Additional Advocate General has now placed on record office instructions dated 30.12.2025 from the Secretary (Education) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, conveying as under:- “That in compliance to the directions of the Hon’ble Court, the promotion orders of Headmasters and Lecturers to the post of Principal (School Cadre) are enclosed herewith for the kind perusal of the Hon’ble Court. It is submitted that out of 08 (eight) petitioners, 07 (seven) have been promoted i.e. Petitioner No.1 at 46, Petitioner No.2 at 47, Petitioner No.3 at 48, Petitioner No.4 at 49, Petitioner No.5 at 142, Petitioner No.6 at 204 and Petitioner No.8 at 246 in the aforesaid list. However, the Petitioner no.7 has not been promoted as he could not make to the final selection list.” 2. Alongwith the office instructions, two notifications each dated 30.12.2025, issued on the basis of recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee, promoting Headmasters (School Cadre) as also Lecturers (School Cadre) to the post of Principal (School Cadre), have also been appended. 3. Learned Additional Advocate General points out that such of the petitioners, who have been promoted as Principal (School Cadre), can submit their joining in the office of the concerned Deputy Director of Secondary Education, however, they shall continue to perform their duties as Lecturers at their present places of posting till the completion of present academic session in the interest of students. The salary of those promoted as Principal (School Cadre) shall be withdrawn from any vacant post of Principal by the Director of School Education. Taking note of the office instructions and notifications dated 30.12.2025, no further order is required to be passed in this matter. The proceedings are closed.
