The challenge made in the present writ petition is to the Election Notification dated 28.03.2025, issued by the Returning Officer, Keyi Panyor District, for filling up the vacant post of Zilla Parishad Chairperson (ZPC) of Keyi Panyor District. It is submitted that the matter pertains to the last tenure of the Panchayati Raj Institutions and that the subsequent election to the Zilla Parishad institutions has already been conducted in the year 2025.
