VINOD MADHAVAN M.V.BOSE(K/8/1967) DEVI P.(K/643/2013) SANIYA C.V.(K/749/2021) MONISHA BABU(K/001974/2024) THIS CONTEMPT OF COURT CASE (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 28.03.2025, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING: 2025:KER:27003 CON.CASE(C) NO. 503 OF 2025 2 J U D G M E N T Dated this the 28th day of March, 2025 The present Contempt Case has been filed alleging non compliance and wilful disobedience of the judgment dated 11.04.2024 passed in Writ Petition (C) No. 10827 of 2024. 2. This Court, while disposing of the said writ petition, in paragraph No. 7 observed as under; “Whether the appeal is maintainable against the revision of property tax or not, the said issue has to be decided by the Standing Committee and not by the Office. In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of with direction to the 3rd respondent to take up the appeal in Exhibit P-5 for consideration and decide the same in accordance with the law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months.” In compliance of the said judgment, the appeal in Ext.P5 has been disposed of on 01.03.2025 and that decision has been placed on record as Annexure A4 in the additional affidavit. In view thereof, nothing survives in this Contempt 2025:KER:27003 CON.CASE(C) NO. 503 OF 2025 3 case, and the same shall be closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said decision on appeal, the petitioner may take recourse to the appropriate remedy as may be available to him under the law.
