GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of respondents, particularly 3rd respondent insisting petitioners to appear before their authority at the instance of 4th respondent in connection with Crime No. 206 of 2024 of Nathavaram Police Station, Anakapalli District registered against 5th petitioner and others for being bindover every day and threatened them to open a Rowdy sheet and Ganja cases against them and made illegal detention, as illegal, irregular, irrational, without any authority of law and violative of articles 14, 19 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere in any manner with petitioners personal life, liberty nor ask them to appear before his authority.” 2. Heard Sri Robba Nani Babu, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, at the instance of Respondent No.4, Respondent No.3 is calling the Petitioners to the Police Station relating to a money transaction. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Police not to interfere with the civil dispute between the Petitioners and the unofficial Respondent and to follow due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
