[2025:RJ-JP:22718] HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN BENCH AT JAIPUR S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 954/2025 Chandra Shekhar Sharma Son Of Shri Laduram Sharma, Aged About 53 Years, Resident Of Village Khedlakhurd, Tehsil Lawan, District Dausa. ----Petitioner Versus 1. State Of Rajasthan, Through Its Secretary, Education Department, Government Secretariat, Jaipur. 2. Director, Elementary Education, Rajasthan, Bikaner. 3. Board Of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer Through Its Secretary, Ajmer. ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Dilip Singh Kurka For Respondent(s) : JUSTICE ANOOP KUMAR DHAND Order 30/05/2025 1. By way of filing this writ petition, a challenge has been led to the impugned order dated 07.08.2024 passed by the Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer by which the application submitted by the petitioner seeking correction in the date of birth has been rejected on the ground that the application was submitted after a long time. 2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the correct date of birth of the petitioner is 13.07.1971 and by mistake it was mentioned as 13.05.1965 in the mark sheet of Class 10th . Counsel submits that the petitioner is going to retire after attaining the age of superannuation by treating his date of birth as 13.05.1965, [2025:RJ-JP:22718] (2 of 2) [CW-954/2025] hence a direction be issued to the Board to make necessary correction with regard to his date of birth. 3. Perusal of the record indicates that the petitioner passed his Secondary School Examination way back in the year 1983 and he was sitting over the matter for such a long time and all of sudden he woke up in the year 2016 for making necessary correction in his service record and when the necessary corrections were not done by the respondents, he approached this Court by way of filing S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 1806/2024 and the said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 18.04.2024, granting him liberty to file a representation before the Board and the now the Board has rejected the application submitted by the petitioner vide impugned order dated 07.08.2024 on the ground that the application has been submitted after a great delay and no correction can be done after passing of five years of declaration of the result. This Court finds no error in the impugned order passed by the Board which warrants any interference of this Court. 4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed. Stay application and all pending application(s), if any, also stand dismissed. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J Ashu/389
