Precisely, the grouse of the petitioner, as has been highlighted in the petition and further canvassed by Ms. Babita Chauhan, learned counsel for the petitioner, is that though in terms of the mandate contained in judgment dated 06.02.2025 passed by Hon'ble Apex Court in Civil Appeal No.1595 of 2025, titled State of Himachal Pradesh and others vs. Surajmani and others, petitioner has been granted work charge status with notional benefits, but till date, his pay has not been re-fixed.

Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be passed, this Court sees no necessity to call for reply on behalf of the respondents, who are otherwise represented by Mr. Vishal Panwar,

2 learned Additional Advocate General. Learned Additional Advocate General fairly states that pay, if not already fixed, shall be fixed expeditiously.

Consequently, in view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to ensure that order of pay fixation pursuant to grant of work charge status in favour of the petitioner, if not already passed, shall be passed expeditiously, preferably within a period of two weeks. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
