Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record. 2. This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed seeking direction to the court below for expeditious disposal of Case No. 1501/11 of 2023 (Smt. Parveen and another Vs. Manavvar) under section 125 Cr.P.C. P.S. Shahpur, District Muzaffarnagar pending in the court of Additional Principal Judge, Family Court-1, Muzaffarnagar within a shortest span of time as fixed by this Court. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the wife of opposite party no.2. She has moved an application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. for maintenance and the same has not been decided so far and till date the opposite party no.2 has not paid a single penny to the applicant. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid Case No. 1501/11 of 2023, expeditiously, preferentially within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
