The present appeal is preferred against the order dated 07.05.2024 passed by the learned Special Judge SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Rajnandgaon (C.G.) in Special (Atrocities) Case No. 23/2021, whereby the appellant has been convicted for the offence under Sections 366 and 370 Digitally signed by HEERA LAL SAHU Date: 2025.08.13 10:19:06 +0530 2 of IPC and sentenced to undergo R.I. for 7 years with fine of Rs. 5000/-, in default of payment of fine additional R.I. for 2 months for each of the offences. 2. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant has filed another criminal appeal of the same nature, which is pending; therefore, he does not want to press this criminal appeal. 3. Learned State counsel has no objection to this proposition put forth by the counsel for the appellant. 4.
