The petitioner superannuated from service on 31.07.2020. As per the petitioner the retiral dues were not paid to him for the period of 7 months. Pleading to this effect has been taken in paragraph 14 of the writ petition. The petitioner has claimed interest for delayed payment. Considering the short period of time interest of justice will be served by fixing a sum of Rs. 5,000/- to be paid to the petitioner by the respondents by way of interest.
