Petitioners have been made accused in connection with Dumri P.S. Case No. 24 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 109, 117 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Sri Prateek Raj, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gumla.

On 12.06.2025 at about 6.00 pm, the informant-party had gone to the house of the petitioners. It is alleged that there was some altercation between the parties due to property dispute. The petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the husband and brother-in-law of the informant, due to which, the husband of the informant succumbed to his injuries.

From the postmortem report, it appears that the deceased had sustained multiple injuries on his person.

In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail is rejected.
