The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: A) Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondents to grant compensation to the petitioner as per his application dated 03-03-2020 a copy of which is produced as per Annexure-B. B) Any appropriate Writ/Order or direction as deemed fit and proper be issued: 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's house having been damaged due to heavy rains. In view of which, an application was filed by the petitioner on 03.03.2020. The same not having been considered, the petitioner is before this Court seeking for the aforesaid reliefs. 5. Whenever any application is made for grant of compensation or otherwise, it is but required for the respondent-authorities to consider the same and pass necessary orders within a reasonable period of time either accepting or rejecting the same. Neither having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii.
