Neutral Citation No. (2025:JHHC:33139) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 7397 of 2025 Sagar Munda, aged about 27 years, son of Ram Munda, resident of village- Hajend Tola, Rasel, P.O. & P.S.- Dashamfall, District- Ranchi. … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. A. K. Sahani, Advocate For the State : Mr. Achinto Sen, A.P.P. --- 04/06.11.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.55 of 2022 arising out of Dashamfall P.S. Case No. 20 of 2021, for the offences registered under Sections 302, 201, 364, 120(B)/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-II-cum- Spl. Judge, SC/ST Act, Ranchi. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier dismissed as withdrawn by this Court vide B.A. No.8995 of 2024 by order dated 27.01.2025. On 04.09.2021, brother of the informant Yugal Munda had gone outside to graze his cattle. Subsequently, he went missing. Later on, his dead body was found hanging from a tree near forest of Buchtolapidi. Suspicion has been raised against the petitioner that he might have committed murder of deceased as the deceased was having illicit relationship with his wife. From the perusal of case dairy, it appears that on pointing out of this petitioner rope which was used in hanging the deceased and stick which was used in assaulting the deceased were recovered. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned trial court shall expedite the trial.
