2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Mayurhand P.S. Case No. 72 of 2023, registered under sections 147, 448, 341, 323, 354 of I.P.C and Section 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practice Act, 2001, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Chatra.

From the record it appears that earlier petitioner has moved in A.B.A. No.5066 of 2024 which was dismissed as withdrawn by order dated 24.04.2025 and subsequently the present anticipatory bail application has been filed.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that earlier the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner has been dismissed as withdrawn and there is no fresh ground.

From the case record, it appears that earlier the anticipatory bail of the petitioner has been dismissed as withdrawn. From the averments made in the petition, it is not clear what is change of circumstance and if there is no change of circumstance, second anticipatory bail application is not maintainable. As such, this anticipatory bail application is dismissed.
