The prayer that had been made in the present public interest litigation was to the extent that the petitioner sought a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4, which includes the Commissioner of the Endowments Department, to initiate proceedings to recover possession of the property in question from respondent Nos.6 to 10 by following due procedure under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 and further to manage the property in accordance with law.

2. Learned Government Pleader for the Endowments Department states that the possession of the property has since been taken over by the Endowments Department on 24.01.2025.
A Panchanama also is stated to have been prepared and a board of the Endowments Department has also been erected on the spot declaring the property to be an endowment land.
3. In that view of the matter, nothing more requires to be done in the petition, which is accordingly closed. Endowments Department is at liberty to deal with the property in accordance with law. Respondent Nos.6 to 10, in case they have a better right, would be at liberty to establish the same before an appropriate forum in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
