Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 26 of 2025 arising out of Chandwa P.S. Case No.115 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 29, 30 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Latehar. On 29.05.2025, Chandwa Police on the basis of confidential information intercepted a red colour vehicle bearing registration No. DL2CQ-5684 and another white coloured Dzire car bearing registration No. BR02BR-9897 near Lukaiya more. On search, 30 kgs of cannabis were recovered from the red colour vehicle bearing registration No. DL2CQ-
5684. It was submitted that some of the co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Mr. Bhola Nath Ojha, learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner was sitting in the vehicle from which commercial quantities of cannabis was recovered. It was further submitted that co-accused persons were sitting in the vehicle from which nothing was recovered. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
