A.4 in Crime No.236 of 2023 on the file of Samalkot Police Station, Kakinada District, filed the Present application under Section 438 Cr.P.C, seeking anticipatory bail| The said crime was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420 and 409 read with Section 34 lPC. / 3. On the report dated 26-07-2O23 given by the Divisional Panchayat Officer, Kakinada alleging that (1) Smt. V.Seshaveni, Ex Sarpanch, Vetlapalem Village, (2), Smt. Ch.Venkata Lakshmi, Sarpanch, Vetlapalem Village and (3) Sri Manyaia Satyanarayana, P.W.D. Operator, Vetlapalem Village, misappropriated Grama Panchayat funds to a tune of Rs.3,46,17,141/-, the present crime has been registered against ll persons including the petitioners. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that A.6 and A.10 in the same crime were granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Criminal Petition~ Nos.9796 and 9814 of 2023, by common order dated 23,12.2024, and the petitioner herein also stands on the same footing as that of A.6 and A.10. 5. ln view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner / A.4, on the following conditions. i) The petitioner / A.4 is directed to surrender before the Station House Officer, Samalkot Police Station, Kakinada District, on or before 10.04.2025. On such surrender, the Station House Officer, Samalkot Police Station, Kakinada District is directed to release the petitioner / A.4 on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the Station House Officer, Samalkot Police Station, Kakinada District. ii) Petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required, and he shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person `=--1 '==--=-1-. €```T`acquajnted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer. iii) petitioner / A.4 is dI'reCted tO appear before the Station House officer, samalkot Police Station, Kakinada DistrI'Ct, Once in a week i.e., on every Monday between 10.00 A.M. and o1.00 P.M. until further orders.
