Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:75452 Court No. - 49 Case :- WRIT - B No. - 1355 of 2025 Petitioner :- Dileep Singh @ Duleep Singh Respondent :- Honble Board Of Revenue U.P. Circuit Bench And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Omvir Singh Rajpoot Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Krishna Kant Singh Hon'ble J.J. Munir,J. This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the Board of Revenue to decide Revision No. 02428 of 2016, Dileep Singh @ Duleep Singh and another vs. Anil Kumar, within a stipulated period of time. The petitioner in substance wants the proceedings of his revision to be expedited. It is not disputed by the petitioner that he is the revisionist before the Board of Revenue, Circuit Bench No. 2 at Agra. According to the report submitted by the Member, Board of Revenue, Circuit Bench No. 2, Agra, on 05.05.2025, the following order was passed: "आज प्रतत्रावलली पपेश हहई। A perusal of the said order shows that the learned counsel for the revisionist was present before the Court but has not taken steps to serve some unserved respondents. The case has, therefore, been adjourned to 09.06.2025. Since the petitioner himself has not taken steps which amounts to non prosecution, the petitioner cannot seek a mandamus of this Court to expedite proceedings at least at this stage. If at a later date, the petitioner's conduct in the prosecution of the case is up to the mark and there is delay still, he may come up again for the same relief. At this stage, there is no good ground to issue any direction in this petition. It is, accordingly, dismissed. Let this order be communicated to the Member concerned, Board of Revenue, Circuit Court-2, Agra through the Registrar of the Board by the Registrar (compliance) by Monday next.
