By this petition, the petitioner herein seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for non-compliance of judgment dated 20th September, 2022 passed in WP(C) No.1942/2022. 2. Statement of facts on behalf of the respondents has been filed. It is stated that vide communication dated 29th March, 2025, the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ghagwal has submitted report regarding the cost of the land. It is stated that the gift deed was registered in the year 2015-16, so the amount of land compensation as per the stamp duty rates for the year 2015-16 comes to be Rs.1.75 lakh. 3. In view of the above, the respondents have complied with the order dated 20th September, 2022 in letter and spirit by considering and deciding the representation of the petitioner. Therefore, nothing remains in this petition for further adjudication. 4. Accordingly, proceedings in this petition are closed. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the consideration order, of so desires.
