The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sisai P.S. Case No. 76 of 2024 (S.T. Case No.226 of 2024), for the offences registered under Section 103(1) of the B.N.S. and chargesheet has been submitted under Sections 103(1)/3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla. On 08.07.2024, unknown persons abducted the son of the informant. On 09.07.2024, his dead body was recovered from a place near Nagra Gadha. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor there is any material against him on the record. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has come in confession of co-accused. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and after seeing the case diary submitted that name of the petitioner has come in confession of co-accused Birsa Munda. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Gumla, in connection with Sisai P.S.
