Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J Notice. Ms. Pallvi Sharma, learned counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of respondents. 2. Petitioner retired from services of respondents- corporation on 30.06.2023 as Inspector. His grievance is that an amount of 8,32,680/- on account of pay arrears w.e.f. 01.01.2006 to 30.09.2020 still remains to be paid to him by the respondents. 3. The above liability has been admitted by the respondents as would be evident from Annexure P-1, dated 05.11.2024. Learned counsel for the respondents-corporation placed on record office instructions dated 09.12.2025 and on that basis 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 admits that aforesaid liability has still not been discharged by the respondents. 4. In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to clear the pay arrears of 8,32,680/- in favour of the petitioner within two weeks from today i.e. by or before 26.12.2025. In case the amount is not paid within two weeks, the same shall carry interest @5% p.a. from the due date. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, to also stand disposed of.
