Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:54195 Court No. - 4 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 4572 of 2025 Petitioner :- Lalji Yadav Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Ashok Kumar Singh,Saurabh Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. Heard Sri Ashok Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus to respondent no. 3 to consider his representation for pensionary benefits made on 21.12.2016. From the representation dated 21.12.2016 which has been brought on record as Annexure No. 6 to the writ petition it clearly transpires that the petitioner retired from the respondent establishment way back on 16.12.2005. Nothing has been stated in the petition, nor in the representation as to why petitioner failed to approach this Court earlier and as to how petitioner becomes entitled to pensionary benefits. In such above view of the matter, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter. Petition is accordingly dismissed on the ground of delay and laches as well as on merits.
