Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 163 of 2023, registered under Sections 341, 342, 323, 325, 307, 379, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra.

It is alleged that on 23.06.2023 at about 12:00 noon, petitioner along with co-accused persons had assaulted the informant causing injury on his head. It is also alleged that accused persons took away jewelleries and cash from the informant.

While granting bail to the co-accused, this Court had the occasion to peruse the case diary, it appears that victim was discharged after giving first aid. It further appears that the victim had not sustained any grievous injury.

It was submitted that similarly situated co-accused Amit Kumar Vishwkarma has been granted bail by this Court earlier in B.A. No. 1233 of
2024.

In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra, in connection with with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 163 of 2023.
