The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pathrol P.S. Case No. 65 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Madhupur. 3. The petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased who died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home. It was alleged that she was tortured to enforce the demand of dowry. 4. Mr. R.S. Mazumdar, learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased have been granted bail. 5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.)
