The respondents may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine whether the payment of Earned Leave Salary and Gratuity had been paid with delay and if so, pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement. 4. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
